Paris Eiffel Jumping

We saw tents set up on the Champ de Mars by the Eiffel Tower earlier this week and then signs on the Champs-Elysées that were advertising "Paris Eiffel Jumping."  And Jumping was in English.  We couldn't figure out what it meant.  But as I looked closely at the banner, I could see a couple of horses in front of l'Ecole Militaire and wondered if it was horse jumping.  When Kelly and I walked over to the Eiffel Tower Wednesday evening, we heard horses in some of the tents and saw horse trailers parked on the road.
So we weren't too surprised when we heard a clip clop out the window this afternoon and jumped up and saw this group of horses headed to the Champ de Mars.

Then a little while later we heard them coming back again.  Everyone on the street stopped to watch.

We just never know what we'll see out our apartment window.
