Our last event with all the students was a dinner cruise on the Seine. Our last couple of weeks in Paris have turned very rainy. But we were lucky last Thursday that the rain held off in the evening for our cruise. We had a wonderful dinner and good conversation with students, friends and family who came along.

We said goodbye to Paris as we cruised by Notre Dame, the Louvre, the Musée d'Orsay, le Pont Neuf, the Statue of Liberty and, of course, the Eiffel Tower.

We took pictures of the group and had a big group hug. It was hard to say goodbye.

Andrew and Julian Goofing Around |
Andrew, Kate and Julian didn't want the magical evening to end so they went with some of the students to the Carrousel by the Eiffel Tower. We saw them waiting on the other side of the platform for the Métro with the Kriegers.

We were very sad to see the evening and our Paris program come to an end with the students. We have many good memories of our time in Paris with our students and all our visitors.
It must be a tradition to go to the carousel!
ReplyDeleteYou are right-Andrew and Kate remembered doing that three years ago and everyone thought it was a great idea.
